Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using LM Mini ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

LM Mini is a mobile chat client that connects to LM Studio and other AI model providers. The App provides an interface for interacting with locally or remotely hosted language models.

User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the content you generate using the App
  • You must comply with all applicable laws when using the App
  • You are responsible for securing your own LM Studio instance and API keys
  • You must not use the App to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content

Subscriptions and LM Mini Pro

LM Mini offers optional LM Mini Pro features through:

  • Auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly or yearly), billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play until you cancel in your device subscription settings; and
  • Lifetime access — a one-time, non-recurring in-app purchase.

Prices are shown in the app at checkout. Taxes may apply. Subscription management and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

LM Mini Pro — Lifetime Access

A lifetime purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use LM Mini Pro features tied to your Apple ID or Google account for as long as we commercially offer and maintain the LM Mini app on supported platforms.

What lifetime includes

  • LM Mini Pro app features available at the time of purchase, delivered through app updates we release for supported devices
  • The same Pro entitlement as an active subscriber, unless a feature is explicitly offered as a separate paid service

What lifetime does not include

  • A guarantee that LM Mini or any third-party service will operate indefinitely
  • Unlimited or perpetual hosted infrastructure (for example Pro Search, LM Connect relay, or cloud backup backends). We may modify, cap, or discontinue hosted features with reasonable notice
  • Third-party API fees, cloud model usage, or costs from providers you connect (OpenAI, OpenRouter, LM Studio, etc.)
  • Future products or platforms not yet offered at purchase (for example a separate app SKU), unless we choose to include them

If LM Mini is discontinued

Software products can be withdrawn from app stores or shut down for business, legal, or technical reasons. If we discontinue LM Mini, we will use reasonable efforts to:

  • Provide advance notice when practicable (typically at least 90 days for a full discontinuation)
  • Keep restore/re-download available for a reasonable period as allowed by Apple and Google
  • Avoid charging lifetime customers again for the same Pro license

We are not obligated to operate hosted services, servers, or online features after discontinuation, or to provide refunds for lifetime purchases except where required by applicable law. Your statutory consumer rights (where applicable) remain unaffected.

Refunds

Lifetime purchases are generally non-refundable after completion. Contact Apple or Google for refund eligibility. EU/UK consumers may have additional withdrawal or remedy rights under local law.

LM Connect Relay Service

The relay service is provided on an "as-is" basis. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The relay does not store your messages and is used solely for real-time forwarding between your devices.

Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and branding are the property of LM Mini. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the App.

Limitation of Liability

LM Mini is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss, incorrect AI responses, or service interruptions.

Third-Party Services

The App may connect to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. LM Mini is not responsible for third-party service availability or content.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
